Upward Bound Scholars Bowl

Scholars Bowl is an academic-based competition that quizzes teams on a range of math, science, history, and related areas of knowledge. The Scholars Bowl team is typically comprised of six players. Four players compete at a given time while the fifth and sixth players are used as substitutions.

The Scholars Bowl Teams at East Tennessee State University has a proud tradition of assembling highly-competitive teams. Practices run throughout the academic year in preparation for the state competition in March. During the state competition, ETSU’s Scholars Bowl team competes against Upward Bound teams from around Tennessee.
