Upward Bound Student Government Association

The Upward Bound Student Government Association gives our students leadership experience while enabling them to have a forum to voice their ideas for bettering our program. Each SGA member has the opportunity and responsibility to conduct themselves as role models, attend meetings on a regular basis, provide input and planning for the summer program, participate in the interview process for prospective Resident Advisors, write and amend the constitution, and assist in college visit planning. Elected students from each of our 14 schools, act as liaisons between the Upward Bound staff and school faculty, staff, and students. These individuals help to promote our message and goals within their communities and in turn they help us to reach students that could benefit greatly from our services.
